Return Policy:

We offer you 10 business days from the delivery date to return a product for a refund. provided item is in new and unused condition; free of pet hair, dirt, stains, soil or discoloration. In addition, if the item arrived with packaging, documentation, parts or accessories, they too must be included in the return.

To return a product you must first contact The Cat and Kitten Store customer service by email to: support@thecatandkittenstore.com within 4 days of receipt. You will be provided with an RA number, proper address and return instructions.

If you return an item that is not in new and unused condition we will not process your return. You will be notified that the item has been received and will not be accepted. We cannot by any circumstances arrange for return shipment.

Return Credit:

Once we receive the product and after inspection, we we will credit your account within 10-15 business days for the price of the product less shipping charges and 15% restocking fee.

*There is a 25% restocking fee on all Jewelry and Kittywalk Systems.

Please understand that often times the refund will not reflect on your credit card until the next billing cycle – this is normally due to your bank and not something we can control.

Free Shipping:

If you received free shipping on an item, your refund will be less actual shipping charges incurred when shipped to you and 15% restocking fee.

Items Which Cannot Be Returned:

Litter products and accessories, pet houses, pet food and treats, pet toys, catnip, books, DVDs, earrings, pet medicine, clippers, blades, combs, damaged items, custom made, personalized, monogrammed and/or special order goods, pet beds. If an item is damaged by consumer or pet, we cannot accept a return. 

Pet Carriers:

Due to strict US health regulations regarding all pet products, once you place your pet on or into an item it is deemed non-returnable.

Cancellation policy:

If your order is canceled before processed - a 10% cancellation fee applies. (orders are generally processed within 1 to 24 hours of order placement)
If your order has been processed, built or begun being built, but not shipped at time of cancellation - there is a 15% cancellation fee.
Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled, it becomes the customer’s responsibility to follow our return policy procedure.
 
Signature Required, Undeliverable and Refused Orders:

If an order is found undeliverable; including a signature required not obtained, undeliverable due to incorrect address given by consumer or item is refused at time of delivery and order is sent back to shipping warehouse, a refund will be issued less 20% restocking fee and minus 2 way shipping costs.

*Important- Larger items may ship with UPS/FedEx Ground "Signature Request" for delivery by the manufacturer. 

*It is the consumers responsibility to comply with carrier request or arrange delivery or pick up if signature cannot be obtained.

Shipping Damage or Item Defect:

In rare instance if you received goods that are damaged during shipping or defective parts or goods, contact us immediately within 24 hours by email: support@thecatandkittenstore.com, please keep all original parts and shipping box, provide to us your order number and detailed photos and we will assist you.

Our manufacturers reserve the right to replace parts only in certain instances.

Custom Carpet Colors:

For orders with custom carpet colors. The only way to get 2 or more items in the same carpet is to order them at the same time, carpet mills discontinue colors and styles after each bolt is used, and new carpet is purchased, our manufacturers will not be able to match colors exactly to a previous carpet color purchase.

Exchanges:

Due to the large items in our product catalog, we do not accept exchanges on our products. Please return the good/s and repurchase the correct item (follow our return policy).

Sign up for our friendly newsletter for promotional codes, special sales events, informative news about cats and more, you can opt out at any time, and rest assured your email address is never sold or shared to anyone.

eGift Certificates:

eGift cards are not redeemable for cash. eGift cards and any monetary balances can only be used only for merchandise within thecatandkittenstore.com catalog. eGift cards are non-transferable. If an eGift card holder purchase is over value of eGift card, the additional balance may be paid for at time of checkout using our secure checkout system. eGift cards hold no expiration date, and can be redeemed at anytime.

Promotional Coupon Codes:

Coupon codes are redeemable at time of checkout only; discounts codes cannot be used after order has been processed, some promotional codes can only be used if you are a registered customer. Promotional codes cannot be combined with items with double sale promotions. Certain restrictions apply.
